Oh my mum once she said dry your eyes then go to bed,

Oh my mum stories she told of all times she walked alone,

Oh my mum I loved her so, So much so my eyes welled up , wet with tears and a lump in my throat,

Oh my mum I miss you lot's the terrible emptyness inside my heart,

Oh my mum your stories live on inside my head and in my heart,

Always,

Oh my mum I still walk tall you gave me courage when I was small,

Oh my mum this poem I wrote from all the stories you have told,

Oh my mum rest in peace time healed the wounds from your memories,

Oh my mum my angel of love,Oh my mum your memories live on.
